Company Bios

David Hansen (playwright/performer) David has been an active participant in Cleveland's theater renaissance for over ten years, pushing the boundaries of independent theater by founding the underground Guerrilla Theater Company, the late-night theater project Dobama's Night Kitchen, as well as the popular and critically-acclaimed Bad Epitaph Theater Company, for which he was Artistic Director. His play, The Vampyres, was recently produced at Cleveland Public Theatre. David was also a contributing writer for The Gulf, Cole Cuts and This Vicious Cabaret. As a performer he has appeared at Great Lakes Theater Festival in The Merry Wives of Windsor and You Can't Take It With You, in BETC productions Cloud 9, Sin and Hamlet, at Beck Center in The Complete Works of Wllm Shkspr (abridged), in Red Hen Productions' Eight Impressions of a Lunatic and Theodora, An Unauthorized Biography, at Cleveland Public Theatre in Love In Pieces, and most recently in Cleveland Public Theatre's production of Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge. David has also been featured on ABC's The Drew Carey Show, and is a contributor to Cleveland Magazine. David is Associate Supervisor of Great Lakes Theater Festival's school residency program.

Thomas W. Cullinan (director) Tom directed Albert Camus' State of Siege and the world premiere stage production of his father's Christmas pageant The Wayward Angel for Bad Epitaph Theater Company. He has performed in many Cleveland area productions, including Charenton Theater Company's Lone Star, Lyric Opera Cleveland's The Merry Widow, Beck Center's Inherit the Wind, Red Hen Productions' Eight Impressions of a Lunatic, as well as in Bad Epitaph Theater Company's Cloud 9, Sin, and the title role in Hamlet.

Dennis Yurich (composer/sound design) Dennis was the music director for Hedwig and the Angry Inch at Cleveland Public Theatre. He composed the original score and did the sound design for Lord of the Flies and The Dying Gaul at the Beck Center and for The Late Henry Moss, Closer and Safety at Dobama. For Bad Epitaph Theater Company he composed the score for Cloud 9, Lysistrata and Sin.

Kelly Elliott (stage manager) Kelly has stage managed for Beck Center, Near West Theater and the Great Lakes Medieval Fair. She has appeared as an actor in Bad Epitaph Theater Company's The American Revolution, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival's Much Ado About Nothing, Ensemble Theater's Anton In Show Business and Soap Scum and The Gulf at Dobama Night Kitchen. Kelly is also a stage combat choreographer with her husband Josh.
