"I had a friend come to
the play with me; her son was stillborn at 34 weeks ... she came in
all the way from Detroit to see it."
"Just to help an
audience get inside of an experience like the one you lived through
is kind of astonishing. And we were there."
"I don't think anyone
who ever sees this work will leave without learning a lesson or two
about how we deal with tragedy, and how we relate to loved ones who
are going through tragedy."
